The portraits featured on this page are more than just examples of my work—they are real animals currently available for adoption at Alaqua Animal Refuge. I chose to paint these beautiful faces to help bring visibility to their stories and highlight the incredible companions waiting for a second chance.
These sample paintings will travel with me to the local farmers markets in Freeport on the first and third Saturday each month—not only to showcase my style and technique, but also to serve as living invitations for others to adopt, support, or simply learn more about the lifesaving work Alaqua does every day.
Through these portraits, I hope people feel the love, personality, and dignity that each of these animals holds.
